Such strength right to the very end. I am glad that I got to meet David at Rushcliffe Country Park for the Walk for Mouth Cancer, in July 2016. My 3 children were amazed that David awarded them with their medals for completing the sponsored walk, and they have saved the medals in their memory boxes to treasure forever. He truly was inspirational and his memory will live on in many.
